This Downy Woodpecker was hanging around at the bird feeder at the Homer Lake Interpretive Center on a late Sunday afternoon. It was a gloomy day, so I used Light Room to do some adjustments on this. Shot with Nikon Z9 100-400 f5.6 1/1000 iso 100.

We had a weekend visit to Tampa Bay, Florida to watch the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois take on the Mississippi State University Bulldogs. It wasn’t the victory we hoped for the Illini as they fell 19-10, but a fabulous game to watch. The Marriott on Water Street provided the view to get these pictures of the beautiful Tampa Bay skyline.
