TBM Avenger Reunion Airshow

On May 19 and 20 the Peru,Illinois Airshow featured the TBM Avenger aircraft. Several of these WWII dive bombers were present at the show. This is the type of plane that President George HW Bush flew during WWII. It was a fantastic show.

Back after a five year break was the Airshow at Scott Air Force Base in the metro St. Louis area. Fantastic show, but unfortunately the Blue Angels were canceled because of weather.

Beauty in a Bridge

I have always admired bridges. They are often an engineering marvel and this bridge is no exception. The Lake Barkley bridge was opened in 2019 and replaced and older bridge. Crossing the Cumberland River at Canton, Kentucky, the bridge is stunning at sunset.
