Thanks to the recent rains, the crops in east central Illinois are looking good. The corn is tasseling and the beans are growing rapidly. The wheat harvest just finished up.

On May 19 and 20 the Peru,Illinois Airshow featured the TBM Avenger aircraft. Several of these WWII dive bombers were present at the show. This is the type of plane that President George HW Bush flew during WWII. It was a fantastic show.
